En Julio del 2011 estuve de visita en la Viña Tamaya, ubicada a unos 20 km camino a Ovalle desde la Ruta 5.
Esta viña tiene en su entrada, un monton de artefactos antiguos que se utilizaban para hacer vino. Además posee en los alrededores cultivos de olivo y cítricos.
